백발의 리랜드 영감이 계약을 2011년까지 연장했습니다.
본인은 예전부터 "계약보다는 시즌이 먼저라능" 이라는 의견을 피력해왔고 시즌 후에나 연장계약 건이 나올 걸로 알고있었는데
시즌 중에 이렇게 덜컥 연장제안이 들어와서 놀랐다나 뭐라나...

Ending speculation that they might not, the Tigers on Friday extended Leyland's contract through 2011 -- the first extension of multiple years he's received.
Leyland's initial contract with the Tigers, signed before the 2006 season, was for three years. After that, he signed a one-year extension. His desire for another, without getting it, after last season received a lot of media attention -- but the Tigers put an end to the issue Friday.
It is believed that Leyland makes $4 million a season.

윌리스가 DL에 가고 피가로가 내일 올라오는 와중에 진행된 조치입니다.

투수만도 못한 공격력을 지닌 백업포수 Dane Sardinha 의 배트질을 보면 어쩔 수가 없지요.
지금 진행중인 게임에 선발출장 중인데, 왠만큼 삽질하지 않는다면 눌러앉을 것으로 보입니다.

지금 진행중인 밀워키 브루어스와의 인터리그 1차전은 방금 전 2회가 끝났습니다.
1회에 3:2 가 되었네요. 필더의 쓰리런 홈런과 템스의 투런 홈런.
1회의 폴랑코 삼진은 저도 울컥한 판정이었습니다. 암만 봐도 무릎 밑이었는데... -_-
쓰리런 나오기 전에 인지의 수비도 많이 아쉬웠구요. 암만 강속타구였지만 인지라면 잡을 것으로 생각했구만, 낮은 타구가 글러브 바로 위로 통과되면서 1 2루 허용.

선발투수는 한창 삽질중인 아르만도 갈라라가 VS 왕년의 불꽃머신 브래든 루퍼(불퍼!)
