SI.com's Jon Heyman spoke with Ruben Amaro Jr. and heard that the Phillies GM is after "depth at the top of the rotation." Here are the specifics of Heyman's analysis:
The Phillies want a "more established" player than Antonio Bastardo to replace the injured Brett Myers.
Amaro admits that swinging a deal is "tough to do" even with expendable young players like John Mayberry Jr., Lou
Marson, Carlos Carrasco and Jason Donald.
Jake Peavy remains a logical fit, but there's no indication he'd accept a deal to Philly.
Erik Bedard, at $7.75MM this year, fits within the Phillies' budget.
Heyman agrees with Buster Olney: there's no guarantee Roy Oswalt will be dealt, but he would interest the Phillies.
Cliff Lee hasn't hit the market and Blue Jays people maintain that Roy Halladay isn't available, but Amaro isn't shying away from any top pitchers that become available. He says he wants "the best [he] can get." It appears that Brad Penny would not be enough for Philadelphia.
Chris Young and Aaron Harang are names to watch out for, as they could become available.

필라쪽에서 루머에 등장하는 선수들로는 일단 필라델피아행을 그닥 원하지 않는 제이크 피비..
775만달러의 계약이 남아 있어서 필리스에게 적합한 에릭 베다드, 로이 오스왈트.. 응?? ㅡ_ㅡ;;
그리고 아직 시장에 나오지도 않았지만 혹시나 하는 클리프리, 건들지도 못할 할러데이는 아마도 힘들겠구..
무튼 아마로 단장은 최고의 투수를 얻기 위해서라면 물러서지 않을 것이라고 합니다..
브렛 페니도 이야기가 나올 수 있겠지만 현재의 필리스에게는 적합하지 않을거라고 하군요..
제가 볼땐.. 올 시즌 더이상 박찬호 선수가 필리스 유니폼을 입고 선발로 나오는 것은 보는 것이 많이 어려워 보입니다..
햅이 너무 잘 해주고 있고.. 마이어스 자리는 2선발급의 선수가 들어와야 하는 자리라서.. 쩝

The Nationals aren't concealing that they plan to select Stephen Strasburg first overall if he stays healthy. The Nats also have the 10th overall pick and MLB.com's Bill Ladson has a source who says they'll use it to select a second pitcher. The Nats don't expect Aaron Crow, who they drafted but did not sign last year, to last until the 10th pick, but they could select college righty Chad Jenkins.
As Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports writes the Nationals will receive the second overall pick in next year's draft if they fail to sign Strasburg. Since they could very well end up with the league's worst record this year, they could theoretically hold the first two picks of the 2010 draft.

곧 있을 드래프트에서 1번 픽을 행사할 워싱턴 구단은 그친구가 건강하기만 한다면 덥썩 물것이라고 합니다..
그 다음에 행사할 10번픽에서도 투수를 픽할 것으로 예상이 되는데.. 작년에 계약을 하지 않은 애런크로우는 아닐 것이고 우완투수인 채드 젠킨스를 픽 할 수 있다고 합니다..
그리고 워싱턴 구단이 그 넘의 계약에 실패한다면 2010년 1라운드 픽을 2장을 받을 거라고 합니다..
올 시즌 성적도 감안이 되었는거 같군요..

White Sox GM Kenny Williams denied having discussions about acquiring Roy Oswalt.
Rumors circulated over the weekend that Chicago was interested in acquiring the services of Oswalt, who, it was said, would not waive his no-trade clause to go to the White Sox. It seems to be a rumor gone wild.

어제 전해드린 오스왈트 루머에 대해서 화이트 삭스의 케니윌리엄스 단장이 휴스턴 구단과 어떤 것도 이야기 한 적이 없다고 이야기를 했습니다.. 먼가요 ㅡ_ㅡ;; 근데 이 분 말이죠.. 머니볼에 잠시 나오기로는 은근이 뒷통수 잘 치는 분이죠 ㅎㅎ 조심 ㅋㅋ

Grady Sizemore may need surgery to fix his inflamed elbow.
Sizemore was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday because of the injury. While an MRI revealed no structural damage to his elbow, arthroscopic surgery remains an option, according to athletic trainer Lonnie Soloff. If Sizemore's elbow doesn't return to normal after his stint on the DL, surgery will be performed, which would likely mean another six weeks on the shelf.

현재 팔꿈치 부상으로 15일 DL에 오른 사이즈모어가 상황이 좋지 않을 경우에는 수술까지도 생각을 해야 한다고 합니다..
일단 본인은 수술하길 원하지 않고 있네요..
MRI검사 결과로는 그의 팔꿈치에 구조적인 충격이 나타나지는 않은 상황이지만 트레이너가 언급하기론 만약 사이즈모어가 DL에서 복귀한 이후로 팔꿈치가 괜찮아 지지 않는다면수술을 해야 할 것이고 6주 정도의 기간이 소요될 거라고 합니다..
Coco Crisp will be placed on the bereavement list due to the death of his great grandmother.
Crisp has been sidelined with a shoulder injury since last week anyway. He will miss the three game series against the Rays starting Tuesday at a minimum. Mitch Maier will continue to play at center during Crisp's absence.

어깨부상으로 경기에 결장했던 크리습이 할머니가 돌아가시는 바람에 다시 경기에 결장을 하게 되었습니다..
크리습의 빈자리는 메이어가 대신해주게 될거 같고.. 대략 3경기 정도 결장할 예정이라고 하네요..
고인의 명복을 빕니다..

This was an expected move, with Volquez scheduled to face Todd Wellemeyer and the Cardinals in St. Louis on Monday night. Volquez was 4-2 with a 4.25 ERA and 1.29 WHIP prior to hitting the disabled list on May 21. He was activated on the first day he was eligible to return.

Volquez, activated earlier in the day from the disabled list, left with numbness in a few fingers on his pitching arm. He lasted just one inning while tossing 24 pitches with two strikeouts. Consider him day-to-day for now. Mike Lincoln took over for Volquez in the second inning.

그러고보니 베탄코트가 초반의 부진했던 성적을 많이 안정시키긴했네요.. 아쉽다능 ㅡㅜ 잘 회복하길..

언젠가 좌상바가 되는건 아닌가.. 왜캐 부진한가라고 푸념했던 우리팀의 초유망주 에릭호스머가 간만에 홈런도 치고 좋은 활약을 했군요 ㅎㅎ 타율도 5월엔 3할에 가깝게 활약을 하는거 보니 슬슬 적응을 하는건가 하는 생각이 들게 합니다..

Jeremy Bonderman (shoulder) threw eight shutout innings in his third rehab start with Triple-A Toledo on Sunday.
He scattered six hits while walking zero and striking out five, but didn't declare himself ready to return to the Tigers' rotation. Recovering from surgery on his right shoulder, his velocity still isn't quite there, but the command and the results are encouraging. His 30-day rehab stint expires on June 15.

하지만 로테이션에 합류할 준비가 되지 않았다고 하네요 ㅡ_ㅡ;;
오른쪽 어깨 부상에서 회복중인 본더맨은 아직까지 구속이 맘에 들지 않은가 봅니다..
디트가 기댈 언덕이 하나 더생겼군요~~ 중부지구는 역시 디트가 오랜만에 탈환하는 그림이..
