Here we go. Big Z was likely acting in frustration after allowing five homers and being ejected from Friday's game, but the last thing the Cubs need is another drawn out saga with this guy. In the end, we have a hard time believing he'll actually walk away from the $18 million he is set to make next season.

He will replace Al Alburquerque on the active roster. Perry, 24, has an ugly 7.06 ERA and 16/12 K/BB ratio over 21 1/3 innings at the big league level this season, though he has 7 1/3 shutout innings under his belt with Toledo this month.
