Tigers pitching coach Dave Knapp said Friday that Joel Zumaya has looked excellent this spring.
"The ball's coming out of his hand great," Knapp said. "He has no pain.
He's got a good look on his face. He's upbeat. I'm happy." Big Z is on
his way back from various shoulder issues. He's likely to man the
seventh or eighth inning at the beginning of the season.KnappÀÇ À̸§ÀÌ À߸ø ¾²¿©Àִµ¥, ¿ÀŸÀÔ´Ï´Ù.

Tigers pitcher Jeremy Bonderman said he has been trying,
unsuccessfully, to lure Kenny Rogers into returning for another season
with the Tigers. GM Dave
Dombrowski added that Rogers is content to stay home with his family
right now, but he doesn't know if Rogers has "made that decision 100
percent." The 44-year-old hasn't made an official announcement, but it
looks like the odds are against him returning.

Tigers manager Jim Leyland was thoroughly impressed with Dontrelle Willis' first bullpen session Saturday.
"The best I've seen him so far," Leyland said. "Meaning both years. I
thought he looked very good, very controlled. The ball had life. It's
the best groove I've seen him be in." Willis is a longshot to crack the
starting rotation out of camp, but a strong spring training wouldn't
hurt. The Tigers rightfully lost a lot of confidence in him last year.
