LG 트윈스는 13일 새 외국인 선수 릭 바우어(Rick Bauer)를 영입했다고 밝혔다.

릭 바우어는 1997년 드래프트 5라운드에서 볼티모어에 입단한 198cm, 105kg의 균형잡인 체격을 갖춘 우완 정통파 투수로 2009시즌 독립리그 요크 레볼루션에서 활약했다. 계약금은 3만 달러, 연봉은 15만 달러이다.

한편 LG는 오는 14일 외국인 선수 릭 바우어의 신체 검사를 마친 뒤 팀에 합류시킬 예정이다.
